a new home.

It's been awhile...we have been so busy!

A little over a month ago Clay and I packed up and headed for the Buckeye State...this move was: exciting, overwhelming, interesting, exhausting, terrifying, wonderful, etc. It was a whirlwind for sure. After leaving our extended stay in Chicago, we just didn't think we had quite enough of the hotel life, so we decided to stay in a hotel for another week once we got to Ohio. Yay (when reading...imagine me saying this in a very sarcastic tone). We spent a few days house hunting and finally found a cute little house to rent in lovely Medina. Long story short...we are still settling in and unpacking, but like living here overall. Medina is a great city. We are enjoying the slower paced living that Medina brings us. It's nice to have a real place to call home. :)

Jobs...this is an interesting topic in the Pearson household. I was lucky enough to find a job before we moved. I am working as a high school special ed teacher for a charter school. Now those of you who know me understand how this is a huge shift out of my comfort zone. We are still adjusting to our new jobs (Clay's job isn't new, but his role has changed in getting his territory) and are both feeling the anxiety and frustration that comes with learning the ins and outs of a new job. This, in combination with our new house to unpack and our move across states, has lead to one feeling...exhaustion.

Although we are still a little overwhelmed, we feel very blessed to have a lovely house to live in and jobs that allow us to support ourselves. We continue to pray for patience and growth in this area. If you have a minute, we'd appreciate extra prayers too! We continue to put our trust in the fact that everything happens for a reason! :)

Other than that, life is great. We are healthy, happy, and enjoying being married.
Thanks for reading!
